Here’s a pretty funny photo a reader, Steve, sent in. He got his “Duke Sucks” book autographed by Woody, and the former announcer told him a story about Brad Daugherty.
The story he told me was that not too long ago, Brad Daugherty was at a fundraiser benefit for Coach Williams. At that event, he got up & addressed the crowd, talking probably for 20 or 30 minutes. Woody said the whole time he talked, he never mentioned Duke once. Instead, he called it “the Evil Empire”.
